Swedish melancholy at its driest

Stutterheim Raincoat

The classic Swedish raincoat for men and women who strive to win the battle against inner and outer demons. The coat is sewn by hand byseamstresses who usually produce protective garments for heavyindustries and really tough work and have undergone rigorous testingin storms, both at sea and in the town. The coat have seams which aresealed to prevent any leaks and buttons of matte copper.
It´s an updated version of the traditional raincoat worn bygenerations of Swedish fishermen (and the occasional genius filmdirector) until it fall into oblivion when classic rainwear waseclipsed by the sportswear industry. Now we´re bringing it back intothe light –or rather, the wet.
The coat is based on original designs from the 1960s and manufactured in the city of Boräs, which has long been the center of Swedish textile industry, it´s the only raincoat you´ll ever need. Battling with the forces of nature.
